Bullying in Schools should Stop
Lately in schools there has been a lot of bullying issues. We need to find out how to prevent bullying. We need to help kids who are the bullies and try to figure out why they are bullying these other kids. We also need to teach the kids who are getting bullied on how to deal with the bullies themselves. Kids should not go to school and have to be afraid of being beat up that day: these bullies need to be dealt with.
Some kids who have been bullied have even gone to the extreme to stop there problems.
What they did was kill themselves. If kids think that the only solution to getting away from bullies we must be doing something wrong. Schools need a solution to stop bullying and one of them is making an anti-bullying curriculum at schools. Teachers also need to be trained to realize when a kid is treating another kid with disrespect. We need to teach kids to know the difference between right and wrong (Engel).
Studies show that bullies are more likely to become criminals than the average person. We don’t want more criminals on the loose so we need to stop bullying in its tracks. We can do that by teaching kids positive values and how to act them. Schools should crack down because violence and bullying should not be tolerated in schools. When kids are just learning the difference between right and wrong, we need to reward them when they do well to one another. A school is like a family so we need to teach the kids to treat each other like a family ("How Can We Stop the Epidemic of Bullying?").
Kids don’t need to be afraid of going to school. Bullying leads to violence and we don’t need more violence in the world. Bullying is a symptom when a person has trouble controlling their anger. We need to teach parents to treat their kids with respect which will help the kids not develop anger issues. We need to help the kids who have been abused because they have more of a chance of becoming a bully. Parents need to treat their kids with respect.
Some people think otherwise about stopping bullying in schools. The Sunday Times says that kids who stand up to bullies are more likely to develop more social skills than those who don’t. Most famous people were bullied in school and fought back. The bright side for not fighting back against a bully it can keep you out of trouble. The other thing that is good about not fighting back against a bully is that it can teach you the difference between right and wrong (UK News, World News and Opinion).
Another thing that the Sunday Times said was that bullying in schools gives kids an early lesson in life that not everyone is going to like you. Kids need to be liked though so they don’t think that everyone hates them. Kids need to be treated with respect from as many people as they can. Also kids should not have to always be afraid because them when they are in the real world and see someone who reminds them of the kid who bullied him/her in real-life, they will automatically be afraid of that person. Kids should not be afraid of a kid just because he reminds them of the kid that bullied them in school (UK News, World News and Opinion).
Kids should not have to be bullied in school. Kids need to be treated with respect. Kids should be happy in school not afraid of school. Now do you see why bullying needs to be stopped in schools? We need to teach kids that schools are for learning not for hurting others.
